Terms of Use
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms explain the conditions for using InstaTimestamp at instatimestamp.com. By using the website, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and third-party platform rules.
1. Our services
We offer browser-based utilities for decoding Instagram media timestamps, resizing images and organizing posting times from links you supply. Some features, including the public Story Viewer, use external providers. Features may be modified, interrupted or withdrawn.
2. What results mean
A media ID can encode a timestamp, but that alone does not verify every detail of a post's publication history. Sample-based posting reports describe only the links provided and do not guarantee better engagement, reach or sales. Size and cropping previews are guides; Instagram can change its display formats and interface.
3. Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt to obtain private Instagram content without authorization, abuse our backend services, circumvent security restrictions, or use automated requests that interfere with operation. You are responsible for the content and links you submit and for complying with rights and platform rules that apply to them.
4. Ownership and third-party services
The original site design, explanations and tools are provided by InstaTimestamp, subject to any applicable third-party rights. Instagram and Meta are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. External services and websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the tools useful and accurate, but provide the website on an “as available” basis without guaranteeing uninterrupted access or error-free results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of these tools. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Privacy and contact
See our Privacy Policy for information about data handling. For questions, corrections or concerns, use the Contact page.
7. Changes
We may update these terms if the website or our practices change. The updated date above indicates the latest published version.
